The Tightbeam Post is a branch of the Screaming Firehawks, dedicated to bringing you the latest, best and most entertaining content related to The Expanse, a series of science fiction novels, novellas and stories by James S. A. Corey.
The "Screaming Firehawks" came about during a debate on what the Expanse fandom should be called! When it was decided that Alex's in-show suggestion of "Screaming Firehawks" was too in-joke to be a widely used name, current webmaster Shannon suggested that the twitter fandom and group of friends use it for themselves, and a fun group of die-hard fans had a name! If you love the Expanse, you're one of us, a Screaming Firehawk!

Andrea
Andrea is a co-host on The Crash Couch, an Expanse Podcast! She is also an avid bookworm, teacher and scientist! She can be found doing a million things such as painting, writing, analyzing, gaming, reading, hiking, or watching movies/TV-shows! A good way to summarize everything she loves is with a fun fact: she has two Miniature Schnauzers named Luke Skywalker and Leia, has two fish companions at work named Diogo and Protey, had a Chameleon named Spock, and had a Hedgehog named Sonic! Shannon

Shannon is a full-time barista with a laundry list of interests. Her life-long love of movies led her to pursue a degree in Film and Media Arts. She’s an avid reader of all types of fiction, an almost-casual gamer, an unoriginal cosplayer, a dedicated gif-maker, and a newbie podcaster. She helped kickstart the #IncorrectExpanse live-tweet game, and co-runs the Incorrect Expanse tumblr blog and Twitter feed, as well as documenting the adventures of "Mini Holden" on Instagram. Sheena
Sheena is the creator of custom Expanse Funko Pops. She is also an aspiring yogi, coffee lover, mom and wife, still trying to find her place in the world.
